Rosa 'Maria Lisa', a Rosa wichuraiana hybrid rambler raised by Bruder. Alfons of Germany in 1925 but not introduced to cultivation until 1936. It was originally name 'Maria Liesa' after two employees of the garden at which it was raised. It is a vigorous, once-blooming plant with light green foliage. It is often described as almost thornless, which is true of young plants but less so once established. Order: Rosales, Family: Rosaceae
