Pyracantha crenatoserrata, a fairly early-fruiting firethorn native to central and western China. It is an evergreen shrub up to 35m tall and is most readily distinguished from other firethorns by its somewhat larger leaves, which tend to be quite broad, rounded at the tip and conspicuously though shallowly toothed. The white open early in spring and the fruit is often showy colour by early summer
