Pyrus calleryana 'Kea', an upright, pyramidal, large-leaved, New-Zealand cultivar of a the Callery Pear, a deciduous tree native to China 'Kea' grows to around 7m tall, has masses of white flowers in spring and brightly coloured autumn foliage that often lasts well into winter. Appropriately, it is named after the New Zealand alpine parrot, the Kea, which in flight shows orange flashes among its otherwise green plumage. Order: Rosales, Family: Rosaceae
