Small-leaved Milk Tree or Turepo (Streblus heterophyllus [syn. Paratrophis microphylla]), an evergreen tree to 12m tall found over much of New Zealand but only in small numbers. Sprays of small yellow-green flowers are followed by red fruits. The name milk tree comes from the sweet milky sap that exudes from the trunk when cut.
