High Alpine Buttercup (Ranunculus calindrinioides), a late winter- to spring flowering perennial native to the Atlas Mountains of North Africa. While its petals are sometimes broad and partly overlapping, forming the typical buttercup flower, they are often rather narrow, creating a more open, starry flower.
