Guincho Purple Elderberry (<i>Sambucus nigra 'Guincho Purple'), a cultivar of a Eurasian deciduous shrub that often naturalises and can become a weed '. Guincho Purple ' differs markedly from the species, being more compact and having very dark purple-bronze foliage with heads of small, white to very pale pink flowers that open from pale pink buds.
