Expanding young foliage of the Smooth. Sumac (<i>Rhus glabra</i>), a deciduous shrub, up to 5m tall, native to North America, from southern Canada to northern Mexico. Its foliage often colours well in autumn and its panicles of greenish cream flowers develop into heads of red fruits.
