The very young, still expanding spring foliage of Sorbus 'Joseph. Rock', a cultivar, possibly a form of Sorbus rehderiana, collected from the wild in Yunnan, China, in 1932, by plant collector. Joseph. Rock It grows to around 6m tall, has blue-green pinnate foliage, and clusters of small white flowers in spring that are followed by yellow fruits that contrast with the red-brown autumn foliage.
