Westland Quintinia or Tawheowheo (<i>Quintinia serrata</i>), a small evergreen tree to 8m tall, found in the western areas of New Zealand from around Auckland to Hokitika. The bronze green leaves have wavy edges and are mottled or irregularly blotched. It appears similar to Pittosporum eugenioides but occurs in far shadier conditions. Order: Paracryphiales, Family: Paracryphiaceae
