Wilford's Threewingnut or Thunder. God. Vine (<i>Tripterygium wilfordii</i>), a vigorous, scrambling, deciduous vine. It is native to Taiwan, nearby parts of southern China and the highlands of northern Burma. The panicles of tiny cream flowers open in midsummer and are followed by small, green, three-winged seed capsules that redden when mature.
