Lonicera nitida 'Honey. Hedge. Ruby', a cultivar of Box Honeysuckle that has showy purple-red new growth and dark green mature foliage on red-tinted stems. The parent species is an evergreen shrub native to southwestern China. It grows to around 1m tall, can be cut back regularly and is often used for hedging in the same manner as box (Buxus).
