Flax-leaved daphne (Daphne gnidium), a rather sprawling evergreen shrub up to 2m high and wide. It occurs naturally form western Asia and southern Europe to North Africa and the Canary Islands. The small creamy white flowers are scented and followed by small red fruits. Late summer is the main blooming season, though flowers my be present throughout the warmer months.
